Catching a breath this afternoon brought me into a reflective mood. After the kids were born, I put in a raised bed because we wanted them to know where food came from. Then, not long after, the kids began planting things for themselves finding out how easy it is to grow different kinds of vegetables. Just out of the picture is new bee garden initiated entirely by Ocèane who made the connection between dwindling numbers and their importance for growing food.
